Child Safety Standards

Last updated: November 20, 2025

Overview

Stuflog is committed to providing a safe environment for children and teenagers. This page explains the child safety standards we follow, the steps we take to protect young users, and how you can report concerns. This document is provided to satisfy the Google Play requirement for published child safety standards and contact information for apps in the Social Media category.

Scope

These standards apply to the Stuflog mobile application and any web properties where the Stuflog brand is used. They apply to content publishing, user interactions, account creation, and all features that enable communication between users.

Age Restrictions

  • Minimum age for account creation is 16 years (or higher where local law requires).
  • Users under the minimum age should not create accounts; we will remove accounts reported to belong to individuals below the minimum age.
  • Users aged 16-18 are allowed to use the app only under parental/guardian supervision, and parental controls should be enabled to ensure safe usage.

Child Safety

At Stuflog, the safety of minors is a top priority.

CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material): Any content depicting sexual abuse or exploitation of minors is strictly prohibited. We enforce automated detection and human review to remove such content immediately.

Minor Sexualization: Stuflog does not allow any sexualized content involving minors. Any attempt to share, post, or distribute such content will result in immediate account suspension and reporting to relevant authorities.

In-app Reporting: Users can report unsafe content, abuse, or suspicious behavior directly through our in-app feedback and reporting mechanisms. Reports involving minors are escalated immediately to our Trust & Safety team and, if necessary, to law enforcement.

Account Creation & Age Verification

During registration we collect minimal information (email or social sign-in). We do not require government ID for routine signup. For accounts that appear to belong to young children or where age-related compliance concerns arise, we may request additional verification or remove the account pending verification.

We provide parental controls and a data-deletion mechanism; parents/legal guardians may request account removal for children by contacting the address below.

Content Moderation

We use a combination of automated filters, community reporting, and human review to moderate potentially harmful content including sexual content, exploitation, bullying, or self-harm. We remove content that violates our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. We prioritize rapid removal of content involving minors.

  • Automated detection for explicit sexual content and known exploitative material.
  • Fast-path review for reports marked as involving minors or exploitation.
  • Age-sensitive handling: when content from or about minors is flagged, extra care is taken.

Privacy & Advertising ID (AAID)

Current status: Stuflog does not use advertising SDKs or the Advertising ID (AAID) in the initial release. We respect user privacy and do not collect or use AAID unless we explicitly add advertising features in the future.

If we integrate advertising later, we will update our Privacy Policy to disclose AAID usage, provide clear user controls, and comply with Google Play policies and applicable laws, including special rules for apps used by children.

Reporting & Safety Tools

Users can report accounts, posts, or messages that violate our policies using the in-app reporting flow. Reports that indicate child sexual exploitation, abuse, trafficking, or imminent danger are escalated immediately to our Trust & Safety team and, if required, to appropriate law enforcement.

  1. Use the "Report" button on any content or profile.
  2. For urgent child safety issues, contact us via the email address below and include all relevant details (usernames, links, timestamps).
  3. We may retain report metadata for investigations and to support law enforcement.

Parental Controls & Tools

We provide the following tools to help parents and guardians manage young users' experience:

  • Account deletion on request by verified parent/guardian.
  • Privacy defaults that limit discovery and messaging for accounts marked as underage.
  • Settings to restrict content types and limit contact from unknown users.

Data Retention & Disclosure

We keep user data only as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, and investigate abuse. For reports involving minors, we retain records necessary to cooperate with law enforcement and to prevent repeat abuse.
