What is Stuflog?
Stuflog is a public social media platform where people share information and news focused text and video content. The name "Stuflog" is derived from the words "stuff"(meaning things or topics) and "log", a term commonly used in computing to represent recorded information.
Who can use Stuflog?
Stuflog is currently in beta, available on Android devices and web browsers for users selected from the waitlist. In the future, Stuflog will be opened to the public and expanded to iOS, smart TVs, in-car systems, and other screen-enabled devices.
How can I join Stuflog?
You can join by signing up for the waitlist through our website. Selected users will receive early access during the beta phase.
What does a "post" mean on Stuflog?
A post refers to any topic-based content shared on Stuflog, including text posts, uploaded videos, or live broadcasts. Posts are designed to endure and be revisited, focusing on deeper engagement instead of fast consumption.
What is a "notion"?
Notions are comments written on posts. They are designed for quick interaction and can include text, images, short videos, and links. Unlike posts, notions are unlimited in number and optimized for discussion and response.
What are filters?
Filters allow you to customize the content you see on Stuflog. There are standard filters for following the agenda, and you can also create custom filters by describing the type of content you want to see. This helps personalize your daily feed.
Who can see my content?
Stuflog is a public platform. Your posts and notions can be seen by anyone browsing the main feed or visiting your profile.
How do I follow someone?
Stuflog does not use traditional follow buttons. Instead, connections are formed algorithmically based on interactions. Accounts you frequently engage with appear in the search page. If you still want to stay connected with a specific user by doing it manually, you can do so by double-tapping their avatar.
What are account types?
All users start with a standard User account, which allows sharing text-based posts. The Broadcaster account type is designed for media-style content such as videos, live streams, and podcasts. Any user can upgrade to a Broadcaster account and begin growing their audience.
